The Fallen: Melting Ice Cream Bar

Hot Summer day. Frozen treat meets white-hot street.

Here's one of the pics from this project. This one needs to be a painting too. Note the crime scene chalk outline.

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay

Oil on canvas, 8 in by 10 in

Walking around the waterfront town of Sausalito this seagull caught my attention.
This smaller piece is part of my move to speed up my production of paintings by working smaller unless asked by a client to do a bigger custom painting.

Cactus Flowers

This oil on canvas commission is 5 feet tall. It was exciting to work so large after working small.
And people seem to pay more attention when they come across it on display.
I guess bigger is better, as long as the art looks good.

The always happy Rubber Duckie is to me an iconic image of eternal optimism.

I have been on a real painting binge lately, mostly smaller sizes but this is a larger 11" by 14: oil on canvas board.
